Prayer

Prayer, which pleases God is neither spiritless mind nor mindless spirit, but prayer in which the mind is tuned to the frequency of the Holy Spirit. Before you ask of GOD, Thank GOD for which you have already received and will receive.

How to Pray:

When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not pray in repetition like heathens do for they think they will be heard because of many words. Be not like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.  This, then, is how you should pray:

"Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kindom, and the power, and the glory, forever."   Amen                 Matthew 6: 9-13

Father, sometimes life can feel overwhelming--and so can the choices that confront me. Please guide my steps and my decision-making so that I honor You in the choices I make.

Serenity Prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.   Amen
